I am delighted! It is difficult to find other words. Here you feel the design finding where east style is combined with the European glamour. As a whole, I consider, a new collection has no analogues in the world. It is a new charismatic sight at jeweler production in the world. If I have presented at least one of these ornaments to a girl, she would be at my feet.
If I go on display of Cartier or, for example, on Сhopard presentation, I can suppose, what there will be shown. From this point of view the brand GULI is capable to surprise pleasantly. Throughout previous years I was lucky to visit her three presentations. Distinctive lines of this young mark, first of all, are in combination of east and west forms.
I was lucky to take an interview from the author of the project - Miss Karimova. She is a very nice, easygoing person. Barely can one meet such a celebrity like her. Being here I learn much and inspired a lot. Most of all I like the blend of old and new. I am not speaking just about architecture. For instance, when speaking to Gulnara, I noticed, that she was wearing and a lovely dress made by herself, with a big beautiful ancient 150 year old jeweler attached. I think that the mixture of modern and traditional is very admirable with foreigners.
I like the collections GULI very much, and the luxury ornaments of jeweler of brand GULI cause delight. Of course, I expected to see here a lot of interesting, but the scale of Week of design and a fashion has really amazed me.
Creative, unusually fresh collection. It is difficult to prefer any one product. For me the black ring with onyx becomes the favorite of today's exhibition.
I love products with small stones. They are really beautiful.

I dream to make “Female sight” with Gulnara. I was at evening events of Uzbek culture in Moscow and St.-Petersburg and, at last, could see what she does in the homeland. On scales and on ambitions of her, in good sense, "punches"! I think that I will make a story about not how to become a princess, but how to insure a definite place in a life and in a trade, being a daughter of such a prepotent person. Probably, it was more difficult to her, than to someone else.
Such collections are a big rarity. Its author, undoubtedly, has refined taste.
The collection is very expressive, one can feel personality. I would carry all with pleasure.
And, of course, the most important role has played Gulnara Karimova's personality. She is the sort of person who creates round herself such space, that everybody starts to join in any positive work. People who do something which is beyond extraction of profit, who just make life more beautiful are always interesting for me. Yesterday I was at the presentation of a jeweler brand "GULI", today I have seen her models on a podium. It is a pleasure to realise, that the person who continues to remain the artist, simultaneously shows miracles of pragmatism and organizing talent.
...We would see with pleasure displays of the brand GULI more than once. We will definitely visit GULI shop. Besides we have seen many interesting dresses, we found that in Uzbekistan there are many beautiful girls, and your country can be proud of them. We cannot describe how much we admire with Gulnara herself. She is a strong, beautiful and a clever woman.
If Gulnara develops the brand, that, sooner or later, she can make a business on it, as her collection is original and durable… And if things are durable, it means they are sold. I consider jeweler collection of GULI is smart.
Recently, I was among the guests at the "GULI presents STYLE.UZBEKISTAN" evening, held in Milan Fashion Week. I want to emphasize that representing your culture and traditions in the contemporary context this way is not just an interesting possibility, it is successfully found combination. Gulnara’s personality fascinates many people and makes them strive to learn and see what she creates. I mean, and a clothing collection, first presented in Milan, and jewelry. I would especially like to note the creative tandem with world-famous "Chopard". I think this cooperation has to be continued.
I really like the GULI brand. Because she has totally amazing sense of taste, and she surprisingly uses your national motives in modern fabrics. The shapes are very nice. You see a fabric looking quite modern, but understand that this ornament was invented centuries ago. This is aesthetics of the future. I think that young girls, who respect their culture, should wear dresses from GULI for cocktail evenings.
It was very interesting to see the collection, which represents the fruit of Chopard House and GULI jewellery cooperation. And I especially liked the fact that part of the sales of this line will be directed to charity.
I was coming to the show, knowing that there will be presented also Gulnara Karimova’s works and feared of premature "verdict" as of my own and public’s. It seemed that everything is already wittingly agreed. I have not seen her previous collections, and I am very pleased that acquaintance with Gulnara’s work started with this fashion show. Watching GULI collection I heard the Londoner critic, who was sitting next to me, comparing Gulnara with Lagerfeld. Her models with all their individuality and inaccessibility (I mean not every woman would encroach on such a thing) have direct respect with life. I saw the eyes of women, as if trying on these outfits for themselves. This is a great success.
We are planning to use the designs offered by madam Gulnara Karimova, to create the collection of Chopard which will be on global market by next spring. The profit collected from the project, will be directed on the Fund “Forum of culture and art of Uzbekistan” charities. It is a very interesting project, and I am happy, that we participate in it.
I’ve known the brand GULI for a long time and was on her first presentations in Moscow and St.-Petersburg. Now there are more tiny ornaments in the collection. Personally I like an ornament from rock crystal with a coral. This is a unique combination.
...Probably the creator is invisibly connected with her creative work; it is like a kind of code. That is why in each Gulnara's articles presents her unique string sounds; her hart enriches with beauty everything she touches. It proves her insistence to herself, as to artist, both phenomenal breadth and generosity of her nature - in all: in fabric which she will not economize for a loop of a dress and in time which she will give to her visitors. Here is a charm of east color that she is able to emphasize gently and incredible knowledge of history and culture. In her gowns and jewelers I feel a royal greatness in myself; therefore I was often filmed in her gowns in projects which are most important for me...
About Guli for Chopard: - Fortunately, I saw the Guli for Chopard collection much earlier in Cannes. I already have some idea about it, in fact, Im completely fascinated by the content, brilliance and beauty of these jewelry pieces. Im really fond of the diamond heart. This is not the traditional Chopard heart, to which we are all accustomed to. This is something very fresh, unexpected and youthful direction. These hearts are volumetric, but at the same time, they are transparent, light. I think the Guli for Chopard line is extremely successful, no wonder its so hard to find one on sale. In Cannes, I was able to get only a few pieces from this collection, then I have already had them specially ordered. I believe that a jewelry item from this collection is a wonderful gift that I have made to some of my girlfriends, and I can say that they were in raptures too.
I really liked the unusual jewelry design, represented at the GULI presentation. Especially original earrings and rings made in the pave technique. They are just beautiful. I paint a little and very appreciative when a designer first and foremost is a talented artist.
